I recently moved to Miami, FL. I am single with no kids. I’m a critical care nurse so i’ll be earning about $110,000 and up. Will that be enough to live in a good part of Miami
if you ask why I’m earning above a hundred thousand, its because i have a masters degree.

PostHeaderIcon Can a person make a living wearing platform shoes and no one will know?

I’m 17 and I want to start wearing platform shoes. But my biggest fear is going to a party and everyone has to take there shoes off for some event (It doesn’t matter what, twister or something.

It happens -_-) and someone keeps telling you to take your shoes off and you keep telling them no. I mean it’s little things like that that can get people to notice.

And then when you finally do take them off and someone sees you will be a laughing stock xD.

What do you think?

PostHeaderIcon When the robots are mass and they take our jobs, what will the humans do to make a living?

You’ve got ASIMO and many other humanoid robots in production, when they arrive at our doorsteps and take over our everyday jobs (cooking, shopkeeping, etc), how are we supposed to make money?

PostHeaderIcon How can I make my living will override my life insurance?

I have SGLI (Servicemember’s Group Life Insurance), and I want everything I have/will earn to go to someone other than who I listed as beneficiaries.

My girlfriend will have my son in 4 months. So can I make it so that all my money goes to him when he’s born if I die before then? And I can’t contact the SGLI office, I want to write a will saying “If I were to die, I would like all my money/future monetary earnings to go to my son”. Will this legally override who I put on my SGLI form?

In short I want everything to go to my son when he’s born if I died before then and nothing to go to who I PREVIOUsly stated for all my money to go to. Will it be legal or will they say “Oh well he’s not on the SGLI so these people get the money instead”?
So would it legally override what I put on my insurance forms?? I just want to make sure

PostHeaderIcon What will I have to do to make a living wage in Recording Arts?

I’m currently in the process of completing a degree in Recording Arts, and from what little research I’ve done, I see that to make a decent wage in the music industry, I will have to spend years making less than McDonald’s employees doing freelance work (in other words, there will be some dispute as to whether or not I will have an income every 6-12 months). Are these just myths that need to be dispelled? What is the reality of the situation?
